Get up early to climb to the top of Cadillac Mountain (it’s the first place the sun rises in the United States) and consider yourself a happy camper.

You can't go wrong stopping anywhere along Maine's coast, but this park—the oldest east of the Mississippi—is a sight to behold. Spend all day or just stop by and snap a few pics.

Amazing National Park. Only one in the Northeast and worth the visit. Not as large as you NP out west but does capture the beauty of the east coast.

Beautiful. Perfect mix of great trails, evergreen jungles, mountainous terrain, and sand beaches. The Gorham trail, and the Sand beach are definite highlights
